King Brothers

Souls were sold at the crossroads of hells inferno. In 1998 those three souls would come to be known as KING BROTHERS, a trio hailing from the city of Nishinomiya. Their bass-less style filled with wrath and fury caused a great deal of excitement, reaching the ears of Guitar Wolf and becoming one of their favorite bands at the time. This notoriety seized them an opportunity to release their very first album on the US indie label BULB and after having successfully completed a hellish US tour with stolen passports and a tour van up in flames; 1999 marked the release of their first Japanese album ★.

"In the East is Thee Michelle Gun Elephant, In the West KING BROTHERS” became a common saying resulting in astounding record sales. This attracted a great deal of attention from the major labels and in 2000 they signed a deal with EMI. Releasing three albums, the one they’re most proud of was ‘6x3’ produced by their hero and a man they had looked up to, the virtuoso Jon Spencer.

During this time they had conquered all the major festivals in Japan like Fuji Rock, Rising Sun, and Rockin On. Also performing open acts for such bands as The Strokes, White Stripes, JSBX, Boss Hog, Speedball Baby, Monkeywrench, Bob Log, Wilko Johnson, Phantom Surfers, Lightning Bolt, Hella, Shellshag… this list goes on and on.

After three years they part ways with EMI and release, to what they consider their masterpiece, BLUES on their own label in 2004. By early 2007, the same album saw light in Australia from label In-Fidelity and just finished their second successful AUS tour. And they've just back from the Europe tour! Played almost 20 shows in Italy,France, and Spain.

As of today, the members go back to their original home in Nishinomiya city. Ready to conquer the world, ready to take stage and destroy the world… the true punks, the true hardcore, that is KING BROTHERS.
