The 33-year-old singer-songwriter, an under-the-radar indie darling for the past decade who recently gained a new audience on the soundtrack of Netflix’s popular Sex Education, rails against the wealthy and powerful with lyrics that could be straight out of the Little Red Songbook and feedback-rich punk riffs straight out of CBGBs.
