Canadian jangle-pop oddball Mac DeMarco is set to serve up a mini-LP titled Another One next month, but before the eight-song set officially arrives, he’ll be serving up hotdogs and previewing the forthcoming release at a barbecue this afternoon.

Caught in concert, Mac DeMarco has a clownish, party-starting disposition. When the Canadian songwriter wants to play it straight, however, he knows exactly how to break your heart. New track ‘Another One’ is online now, a hazy, McCartney-esque piece of bubblegum pop with a tattered psych edge.
This summer, sardonic slacker-rocker Mac DeMarco will follow up his 2014 album Salad Days with a so-called “mini-album” called Another One. Already he’s shared one track, “The Way You’d Love Her,” and today he is sharing a second, the eight-song project’s title-track.
Mac DeMarco has shared a spoof travel video. Titled ‘Too Dry Dudes’, the video documents his recent worldwide tour.
On August 7, Mac DeMarco will release Another One, a mini-LP that will serve as the follow up to his breakout Salad Days. After putting out “The Way You’d Love Her,” Big Mac has now delivered the video for the title track which pays tribute to Michael Jackson.
Following an appearance at Field Day London, Mac DeMarco visited BBC Radio 6 Music’s studios for an acoustic and full-band session.
